Limited community knowledge may contribute to inadequate preventive practices. To analyze the relationship between community knowledge and Diabetes Mellitus preventive practices in the working area of Kartini Primary Health Center, Pematangsiantar. This quantitative study employed a correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 97 respondents were selected using convenience sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using the Pearson Chi-Square test at a 5% significance level. Most respondents had poor knowledge (73.2%) and poor preventive practices (72.2%). Statistical analysis revealed a significant relationship between community knowledge and Diabetes Mellitus preventive practices (?² = 42.611; p < 0.001). The use of ankle weight is believed to increase leg muscle strength and explosive power, which has the potential to increase running speed. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of ankle weight training on increasing the running speed of Medan Krio Generation football players. Method: This study used a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest approach. The research sample was 20 U-15 football players from Medan Krio Generation Football School who were selected using the total samplingtechnique. The intervention in the form of ankle weight training was carried out for 4 weeks with a frequency of 3 times a week. Running speed measurements were carried out using a stopwatch at a distance of 100 meters. Data were analyzed using a paired sample T-test. Results The Wilcoxon test analysis showed a significance value (p < 0.001), indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest results. Conclusion The use of ankle weights in a structured and consistent training program proved to significantly improve running speed.

Aulia Anugrah Pane Trisno Susilo Sulaiman Copyright (c) 2026 Health Science and Rehabilitation Journal 2026-07-11 2026-07-11 6 3 Pengaruh Core Stability Exercise terhadap Penurunan Intensitas Nyeri dan Peningkatan Disabilitas Fungsional pada Pasien Low Back Pain Non-Spesifik http://journals.insightpub.org/index.php/hsrj/article/view/574
Non-Specific Low Back Pain (NSLBP) is a common musculoskeletal disorder causing pain and functional limitation. This study aimed to analyze changes in students’ perceptions and acceptance of hijamah practices after participating in an educational program based on Thibbun Nabawi values. The study employed a mixed methods approach (simple explanatory design) using quantitative data from pre-test, post-test, and questionnaires, as well as qualitative data obtained from participants’ written reflections. The study was conducted at Madrasah Kencana Langsa, Aceh, in April 2026 involving 28 students who participated in educational activities consisting of material delivery, hijamah practice demonstrations using sterile equipment, interactive discussions, and the utilization of QR Code media as learning support. The results showed an improvement in participants’ understanding, indicated by an increase in the average score from 64.2 in the pre-test to 84.6 in the post-test. The education program also contributed to positive changes in perceptions and increased acceptance of hijamah practices among participants. The integration of Thibbun Nabawi values, safe practical demonstrations, and QR Code-based learning media provided a more interactive learning experience and supported continuous access to educational information. This study demonstrates that a health education model integrating religious values and digital technology has potential for further development as an innovative health education approach.
Khairia Agustina Yeni Vera Copyright (c) 2026 Health Science and Rehabilitation Journal 2026-06-27 2026-06-27 6 3 Pengaruh Mobilisasi Dini Terhadap Percepatan Penurunan Involusi Uteri pada Ibu Post Partum di PMB Bd.Sri Hartati S.Keb Desa Binjai Baru http://journals.insightpub.org/index.php/hsrj/article/view/560
The postpartum period is a recovery period after childbirth, where the process of involution or the return of the uterus to its original size is an important indicator in the recovery of the postpartum mother. The research instrument used a uterine fundus height observation sheet measured before and after early mobilization. Data analysis was conducted using the paired sample t-test. Showing a significant decrease in the height of the uterine fundus after early mobilization. The average height of the uterine fundus before early mobilization was 12.89 cm, while after early mobilization decreased to 9.83 cm. The results of the paired sample t-test showed a value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), which means that there is a significant influence between early mobilization on the acceleration of the decrease in uterine involution. From this study, early mobilization is effective in accelerating the decrease in uterine fundus height in postpartum mothers. Identification of risk factors is important to be carried out as the basis for prevention efforts from an early age in the school environment. This study aims to analyze the relationship between sitting posture, bag weight, and gender to the incidence of scoliosis in students of SMP Negeri 2 Pancur Batu. The study used an observational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample amounted to 80 students who were selected using stratified random sampling techniques. Data were collected through seated observation, bag weight measurement, gender identification, and scoliosis screening using the Adam's Forward Bend Test. Data analysis was carried out univariately, bivariately using the Chi-square test, and multivariate using logistic regression with a significance level of p<0.05. The results showed that bag weight was significantly related to the incidence of scoliosis (p<0.001; OR=7.426), while sitting posture (p=0.080) and gender (p=0.923) showed no significant relationship. The weight of the bag is the most dominant factor in the incidence of scoliosis in students. Bag weights that exceed the recommendations increase the risk of scoliosis in students. Therefore, ergonomic education, weight monitoring of school bags, and regular posture screening are needed as a promotive and preventive effort to maintain the health of the adolescent spine.
Arief Michael Budianto Trisno Susilo Ida Aryani Pasaribu Copyright (c) 2026 Health Science and Rehabilitation Journal 2026-07-03 2026-07-03 6 3 Profil Burnout Tenaga Fisioterapis Berdasarkan Pendekatan Job Demands-Resources di Siti Hajar Health Care Medan http://journals.insightpub.org/index.php/hsrj/article/view/566
Burnout is a syndrome resulting from chronic workplace stress that is commonly experienced by healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists.
