Pengaruh Core Stability Exercise terhadap Penurunan Intensitas Nyeri dan Peningkatan Disabilitas Fungsional pada Pasien Low Back Pain Non-Spesifik

Non-Specific Low Back Pain (NSLBP) is a common musculoskeletal disorder causing pain and functional limitation. Core Stability Exercise (CSE) is widely recommended as an evidence-based physiotherapy intervention. To analyze the effect of CSE on pain intensity and functional disability in patients with NSLBP. This study employed a quasi-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. Thirty participants were recruited using purposive sampling. Pain intensity was assessed using the Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS), while functional disability was measured using the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI). Participants received CSE three times per week for four weeks. Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The mean NPRS score decreased from 6.53±1.14 to 2.87±0.94, while the mean ODI score decreased from 36.20±7.85 to 18.47±5.92. Both outcomes showed statistically significant improvements (p<0.001). Core Stability Exercise is effective in reducing pain intensity and improving functional ability in patients with Non-Specific Low Back Pain.
