Sosialisasi Pencegahan Stroke di Desa Bukit Merdeka Kecamatan Lawe Sigala-Gala Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara

Abstract

Stroke is a disease that attacks the human brain, this condition causes the body parts controlled by the damaged brain area to not function properly so that the impact can interfere with a person's functional activities. Health information in Bukit Merdeka Village, Lawe Sigala-Gala sub-district, Southeast Aceh is still very low. The purpose of this community service is a change in people's behavior regarding the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the community understands the role of physiotherapy. The results of this community service show that 50% of the general knowledge about stroke and the dangers of stroke, understand how to prevent stroke with a healthy and balanced lifestyle, know the role of physiotherapy on stroke.
