Abstract

Health students are not only required to have academic competence and clinical skills but also need professional character based on moral values, ethics, and legal responsibility in providing health services. The problem identified was the limited understanding among students regarding the relationship between Pancasila values and the implementation of health professional ethics and legal aspects in healthcare practice. This community service activity aimed to improve the understanding of students in the Midwifery Study Program at STIKes Asyifa regarding Pancasila values and health professional ethics as a foundation for developing professional and integrity-based health workers. The activity was conducted using a participatory educational approach through interactive lectures, discussions, health ethics case studies, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test instruments. The activity was carried out on June 2, 2026, involving 40 second-semester midwifery students. The evaluation results showed an improvement in students' understanding, with the average pre-test score increasing from 62.5 to 86.5 in the post-test, representing a 38.4% improvement. This educational activity had a positive impact on increasing students' awareness regarding the importance of implementing Pancasila values, professional ethics, and legal responsibilities as future health professionals. Similar activities are expected to be implemented continuously to strengthen the professional character of health students.
