Abstract

Adolescent reproductive health; health literacy; digital media; interactive education; community service. Low reproductive health literacy among adolescents remains a major challenge in improving the health quality of young people. Although adolescents have broad access to digital information, many still lack the ability to identify accurate and reliable health information. This community service program aimed to improve adolescent reproductive health literacy through interactive digital-based education among students at As Syifa Vocational High School, Medan. The program was conducted in July 2026 and involved 38 students. Educational activities included interactive lectures, group discussions, question-and-answer sessions, educational videos, and knowledge assessment using 20-item pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The evaluation demonstrated an improvement in participants' average knowledge scores following the educational intervention. Participants also showed high enthusiasm and active engagement throughout the program. Interactive digital-based education proved effective in enhancing adolescents' reproductive health literacy and can serve as an alternative health promotion strategy in school settings.
