Abstract

Pregnancy requires physical, psychological, and social readiness to ensure a safe delivery. However, expectant mothers often have limited knowledge regarding birth preparedness and the benefits of physical activity. Prenatal exercise is a health promotion initiative that can improve fitness, alleviate pregnancy-related discomfort, and prepare mothers for childbirth. This community service activity aimed to enhance knowledge, skills, and birth preparedness through the implementation of an Integrated Prenatal Exercise program at the Pantai Cermin Community Health Center. The activity involved women in their second and third trimesters of pregnancy and utilized methods such as health education, demonstrations, and practical exercise sessions. Evaluation results indicated an increase in participants' knowledge following the intervention, alongside the ability to correctly perform prenatal exercises, breathing techniques, and relaxation methods. Participants also demonstrated high enthusiasm throughout the activity. The implementation of Integrated Prenatal Exercise proved to be an effective promotional strategy for improving maternal health and birth preparedness. It is hoped that this program can be implemented sustainably as part of antenatal care services in primary healthcare facilities.
