Indonesia is a nation characterized by diversity in religion, ethnicity, culture, and social background. This diversity is also reflected in university life, as students come from various regions and hold differing beliefs. Such conditions present challenges for the implementation of the First Principle of Pancasila: Belief in the One and Only God. Implementing this principle involves not only the freedom to practice one's religion but also the ability of students to respect the beliefs of others in their daily lives. This article aims to analyze the challenges of implementing the First Principle of Pancasila amidst student religious diversity, as well as the efforts that can be made to strengthen tolerance. The study employs a literature review methodology, drawing upon five books and five journals relevant to Pancasila education, religious tolerance, student diversity, and interaction in the digital era. The findings indicate that differing understandings of tolerance, social circles, a lack of experience in dealing with diversity, and social media usage constitute some of the challenges in implementing the values of the First Principle. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the understanding of Pancasila and translate it into concrete actions such as mutual respect, open communication, cooperation, and responsible social media use.
