Low adherence to iron tablet (Fe) supplementation, insufficient intake of iron-rich food, and limited family support are factors contributing to the high risk of anemia among adolescent girls. Housewives hold a strategic role in shaping family health behavior, particularly in fulfilling nutritional needs and monitoring Fe tablet consumption among adolescent girls. Therefore, this community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge and role of housewives in preventing anemia risk behavior through household-based health education. The activity was conducted on 3 February 2026 in Dusun 1, Desa Besar II Terjun, Pantai Cermin Sub-district, Serdang Bedagai Regency, targeting housewives. The methods used included interactive counseling, group discussion, question-and-answer sessions, and the distribution of educational media covering anemia, its risk factors, the importance of Fe tablet consumption, and balanced nutrition practices. The activity received support from the village government and was attended enthusiastically by participants. The education provided improved participants' understanding of the causes, effects, and prevention steps of anemia, which is expected to strengthen family involvement in guiding adolescent girls to adopt healthy behaviors.
