The development of futsal demands optimal hamstring muscle flexibility to support athletic performance and prevent injuries. This study aims to analyze the effect of Hold Relax Exercise on improving hamstring muscle flexibility among junior futsal players at Academy F.B.S Medan. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test approach, this study involved 33 futsal players aged 8–13 years selected via purposive sampling. Flexibility was measured using the Sit and Reach Test before and after the intervention, which was administered over 8 sessions across 4 weeks. Since the data were not normally distributed based on the Shapiro-Wilk test (p < 0.05), bivariate analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results revealed a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), confirming that Hold Relax significantly improves hamstring flexibility in futsal players.
