Lanskap penelitian global tentang perilaku hedonisme: kajian tren terkini dan masa depan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan lanskap global penelitian tentang hedonistic behavior atau perilaku hedonisme selama periode 2019–2023 serta mengidentifikasi tren publikasi, kata kunci dominan, dan tema riset yang berkembang. Latar belakang penelitian ini didorong oleh meningkatnya perhatian akademik terhadap perilaku hedonisme di era digital, di mana kesenangan tidak hanya dikaitkan dengan konsumsi material, tetapi juga dengan pengalaman virtual dan kepuasan instan. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis bibliometrik dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui Publish or Perish dengan sumber dari Google Scholar menggunakan kata kunci “hedonistic behavior.” Sebanyak 399 dokumen teridentifikasi dan dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSviewer untuk memetakan hubungan kata kunci (co-occurrence analysis), struktur jaringan penelitian (network visualization), dan klaster tematik utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam jumlah publikasi terkait perilaku hedonisme, dari 57 dokumen pada 2019 menjadi 121 dokumen pada 2023. Analisis visual mengungkap sembilan klaster utama yang menggambarkan dimensi multidisipliner perilaku hedonisme, mencakup kesenangan dan kepuasan, perilaku konsumtif, identitas sosial, serta pengaruh media digital terhadap gaya hidup generasi muda. Selain itu, penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hedonisme kini berkembang sebagai konsep yang melibatkan interaksi antara faktor psikologis, sosial, dan ekonomi dalam konteks digital. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar studi mendatang mengombinasikan analisis bibliometrik dengan systematic review atau meta-analysis guna memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang konteks empiris dan kualitas penelitian. Penggunaan lebih dari satu basis data seperti Scopus dan Web of Science serta integrasi alat analisis lain seperti Biblioshiny disarankan untuk meningkatkan akurasi, inklusivitas, dan ketajaman interpretasi hasil pemetaan.
